She Does This has always been an extremely proud supporter of Gift Box Organic, a social enterprise with a mission to restore dignity to homeless women.
For every box of organic tampons purchased, one box is donated to a woman who cannot afford the monthly necessity that most of us take for granted. You can read more about Gift Box HERE.
Gift Box Organic was founded by former Neighbours star Saskia Hampele.
For all her amazing work so far, Sas is now a FINALIST in the 2017 Australian Women’s Weekly “Women of the Future” Awards.
Women of the Future celebrates young women with a great business idea, charity or venture – amazing people pursuing a dream to help others.
Judged by some of Australia’s most recognised women (Foreign Minister, Julie Bishop, Ita Buttrose, Lucy Turnbull, Lisa Wilkinson, Yassmin Abdel-Magied, Qantas’ Olivia Wirth and The Australian Women’s Weekly editor-in-chief Nicole Byers), the scholarship program, which celebrates young female talent and entrepreneurship, has unearthed some of Australia’s most spirited and dynamic young women, passionate about developments in science, medicine, body image, education, health and the arts.
The major prize, The Judges Choice Award, grants the winner $25,000 to put towards the development and growth of their cause, complemented by a Qantas Travel Bursary to the value of $25,000.
Here’s where we need YOUR HELP…..
Adding to the prizes, is the People’s Choice Award.
She Does This so passionately supports Saskia and Gift Box Organic and believes this grant and recognition is SO DESERVED.
Please head to Australian Women’s Weekly to cast your vote so that underprivileged women of Australia can continue to reap the benefits of such an amazing initiative!
